Digicept DNA

Digicept® DNA ModuleIncrease your announcement capability and stay competitive in the changing telephone network with ETC’s Digicept® Digital Network Application (DNA) Modules. This scalable system enhances a switch, or network of switches by supporting existing applications and emerging requirements of the telephone network such as AIN announcements, local number portability, call completion, current temperature and weather conditions, TTY conversion and voice prompts for custom intercept services.

Centralized Administration and Call Analysis Software
Ethernet connectivity provides redundancy and centralized administration of multiple platforms. Remote file administration is possible via internet access and FTP. Also, Call Analysis reports provide graphical details on call activity.

Partitioned Architecture™
Partitioned Architecture describes ETC's telephony interface and processor redundancy. This feature enables systems to start small and grow modularly for system expansion. Additionally, Partitioned Architecture assures continued operation during maintenance procedures. Processors, interfaces, and other critical components can be serviced in any partition, without disabling the system. Changes in database and speech files can be replicated easily across all system partitions. Testing new features and services on a single partition eliminates risk before system-wide implementation.

Peripherals
ETC’s Media Module contains a PD drive for time-effective installs, back-ups and restores, in addition to a convenient media storage area. PDs eliminate the need for multiple floppies and speed the back-up process for single or multiple networked DNA modules. A Media Module also provides the necessary interface required for time and temperature applications.

Cooling Unit has internal fan cooling with alarms and removable filter. It is recommended, but not necessary, that air space above and below enclosure not be blocked. Overall mounting height for this configuration with recommended air space is 7".
