ETC Showcases Digicept Emcee™ at Wireless 2000

New Orleans, LA—February 28, 2000

ETC, a leading designer and manufacturer of voice networking solutions, will introduce Digicept Emcee™ to the wireless market at CTIA’s Wireless 2000 held this week at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans. Sponsored by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association, Wireless 2000 is the single largest international wireless telecommunications event that brings together over 20,000 top-level executives and decision-makers from around the world. ETC will be exhibiting in Booth #5536, Hall H.

ETC’s Digicept Emcee enables wireless providers to provide a voice for their networks. Applications include changed number announcements, calling party pays (a message notifying the caller that he, not the subscriber, will be responsible for charges related to the call), time and temperature, and various enhanced services. Emcee can also differentiate wireless providers in the marketplace with branding messages. Keeping a provider’s name in front of customers can have an impact on customer acquisition and retention.

CTIA is the international association for the wireless telecommunications industry, representing all elements of wireless communications.

ETC designs, manufactures, and services quality telecommunications products that provide network solutions for domestic and international access providers.
