MEET "TELEPHONE LADY" JANE BARBE AT SUPERCOMM ‘98
WAUKESHA, WI-JUNE 5, 1998-"Telephone Lady" Jane Barbe will make an 
appearance at ETC’s booth #7529 at Supercomm ’98, June 10 at 3:00 
p.m. Barbe’s voice is heard by millions of people every day 
announcing ETC’s Audichron® time, temperature, and weather 
services. In addition, Barbe’s voice speaks for the telephone 
network (changed numbers, disconnects, circuits busy), Bell 
laboratory computers, The National Bureau of Standards, and many 
voice mail systems nation wide.
An Atlanta native, Jane is a graduate of the University of Georgia 
with a degree in drama. Following two years of ad agency work, she 
sang with the Buddy Morrow big band and toured the United States. 
After marriage, Barbe became a commercial singer and actress, 
working with her husband in the creation and production of music 
for advertising. 
Jane has made her mark in television on a variety of shows 
including "I’ve Got a Secret", "The Mike Douglas Show", "CBS News", 
"Real People", "Good News" and "PM Magazine" as the "Time Lady". She 
also appeared with Ron Reagan, Jr. in a segment on "Good Morning 
America". Barbe’s portfolio includes commercials, both on and off 
camera, for companies such as Coca Cola, Delta Air Lines, Georgia 
Power, Hardees, IBM, Miller Brewing, Southern Bell, Sunbeam and 
Whirlpool.
