Daylight Saving Time Information

Date Change in 2007

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete. What does this mean for ETC & Audichron customers?

First, verify which type(s) of equipment you have and if you are covered by one of our maintenance plans. We will automatically update you if we have access to your system AND you are covered by a maintenance plan.

	Audichron 210B Time/Temperature/Weather will need to be updated via modem connection, both Spring & Fall, annually.
	Audichron 410 Time/Temperature/Weather can be updated via modem connection, both Spring & Fall, annually.
	Audichron Z10 Time/Temperature/Weather can be updated via modem connection, both Spring & Fall, annually.
	Digicept 2002 / DNA Network Application Module. A ONE TIME update is needed. We can either send a floppy disk or email the update to you. Your system must be at the current software 3.4 in order to use this update.
	Digicept Emcee or Digicept ELF Network Application Platform. A ONE TIME update is needed. We will need access to your system via IP address to download the update.

Not Covered by a Maintenance Plan?

The charge for correcting the time setting in your equipment:

	Audichron 210B, 410, Z10 models can be updated for $99 for Spring and then $99 for the Fall, if ordered separately. Or you can order them together for $159.00.
	Digicept 2002/DNA or the Digicept EMCEE / ELF models have a ONE TIME fee of $159.00.
